Downtown Bear Creek City Park area.
For many years the white building to the right at the back of the park was the General Store of Hardy J. Phillips.
Hardy (1901 - 1981) was the son of Solomen "Sol" and Fannie (BENEFIELD) Phillips. He married Clara Ozella Alexander (1902 - 1987), daughter of Joseph Joel and Magie Minerve (IVEY) Alexander.
The Bobby Bishop Community Center.
The new Community Center was dedicated to Bobby Bishop, who was the Town Clerk for Bear Creek for many years until his untimely death in July 20, 2006.
Bobby was the son of Rev. Marvin and Melberta (PICKARD) Bishop.
