Gordon Tompkins Brown, age 93, of Phil Campbell , passed away, Thursday, January 15, 2004.

Mr. Brown lived all his life in Franklin County and was a member of the Church of Christ. He was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Ezzell Brown and son-in-law, Ronald G. Britton.

Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. on January 17, 2004 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Russellville with Johnny Richardson and Jack Henson officiating. Interment was in Belgreen Cemetery.

Me. Brown is survived by his children, Mary Nell Burfield and husband of Belgreen, Ann Warren and husband, Fred of Atlanta, Goergia, Sarah Britton of Madison, Kennith Brown of Huntsville, Kathy Hathorn and husband, Wendell of Florence, and Danny Brown and wife, Tami of Phil Campbell and her grandchildren, Anthony Burfield, Wade Burfield, Jeff Burfield, Emilie Hathorn Duke, Cameron Brown, Brad Burfield, Kevin Brown, Kristen Britton, and Chloe Brown.

Pinkard Funeral Home assisted the family.
