| This genealogy endeavor began in the late 1950's early 1960's by
Robert S. Glasgow, Jr. of Adamsville, Alabama. Although he died in 1993, the fruits
of his research has enabled the ever expanding branches of this tree to know the seed from
which it grew. I hope you enjoy reading about some of the Glasgow surname history
and viewing the pages and related links. Glasgow settlers of Franklin County, Alabama are included in this site along with descendants of Robert and Rachel Glasgow who came to America from Ballyeaston, Ballycor Parish, Northern Ireland and settled in and around Newberry, South Carolina.
