Abner Powell LOVELESS, son of Barton LOVELESS and Isabella JOHNSTON, was born April 7, 1825, in Hall County, Georgia, died April 7, 1900, in Marion County, Alabama, and is buried in Old Bethel Cemetery, Marion County, Alabama.

He married Nancy Jane TOWNSEND, daughter of Edward TOWNSEND, Sr. and Anna TAYLOR, on March 5, 1851.  She was born in 1828, in Cherokee County, Georgia, died in 1909, and is buried in Old Bethel Cemetery, Marion County, Alabama.

2-Jocy P. LOVELESS born October 1853, in Georgia.  She married Levi PADGETT born March 1851, in Georgia.

2-Catherine LOVELESS born March 1854, in Georgia.

2-Jay LOVELESS born December 1854, in Pickens County, Georgia, and is buried in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Marion County, Alabama.

He married Elizabeth M. PETTIT, daughter of  Elias PETTETT and Mary Jane GROGAN, on January 1, 1877.  She was born May 1855, in Georgia, and is buried in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Marion County, Alabama.

2-Gid Roberts LOVELESS was born December 29, 1855, in Georgia.

2-Amanda LOVELESS was born December 29, 1855, in Georgia.

2-Benjamin Franklin LOVELESS was born December 1856, in Georgia.  He married Martha J. LOVELESS born September 1855, in Georgia.

2-Josephine LOVELESS was born April 6, 1859, in Georgia.

2-Samuel LOVELESS was born December 1861, in Georgia.

2-California LOVELESS was born December 1862, in Georgia.

2-John Marion LOVELESS b. December 23, 1863, in Georgia.

2-Dock Fowler LOVELESS was born May 23, 1868, in Pickens County, Georgia, died August 15, 1954, in Hodges, Franklin County, Alabama, and is buried in Cedar Tree Cemetery, Hackleburg, Marion County, Alabama.

He married Virginia "Alice" STANFORD, daughter of John Washington
STANFORD and Nancy Jane WYLIE, on December 8, 1887.  She was born March 18, 1862, in Alabama, died September 30, 1940, and is buried in Cedar Tree Cemetery, Hackleburg, Marion County, Alabama.
