Andrew T. Davis, age 77, of Russellville passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2001, at Russellville Health Care.

Mr. Davis was born in Lawrence County on July 6, 1924. He was retired from the Russellville City School System. He was a member of Vandiver Hollow Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, William K. and Carry Alton Davis; two brothers, Charles Davis, Sr. and Gordie Davis; a sister, Elsie Gibson; and a nephew, William Jackson Davis, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2001, at Spry Chapel with Robert Terry officiating. Interment will be in Mountain Home Cemetery in Belgreen.

Pallbearers will be Terry Davis, Jr., David Barnett, Robert Brown, Jerry Little, Ben Little, and Michael Mooreland.

Mr. Davis is survived by three sons, Tom Davis and wife Mary Jane, Terry Davis, Sr. and wife Evelyn, and Michael Davis and wife Debra; two daughters, Lisa Prestage and husband Alan, and Sandy Davis; two brothers, William I. Davis, Sr. and wife Regana, and Lawrence Cecil Davis and wife Carolyn; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several special friends; and one step-grandson.
