Edna Welch, 69, died Sunday, February 1, 2004. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at Spry Memorial Chapel, Russellville. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in Belgreen Cemetery.

Edna P. Welch, 69, of Russellville, Alabama, died Sunday, February 1, 2004. Visitation was 6-9 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2004, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at Spry Memorial Chapel, with burial in Belgreen Cemetery, Belgreen, Alabama.

Officiating at the funeral will be Dennis Stewart.

She was a native of Franklin County and resident of Belgreen, Alabama.

Pallbearers will include Jim Barnes, Davey Gassaway, Frank Tucker, Nicklas Sutherland, Gary Welch, Randy Welch, Chad Gentry and Robbie Boyd.

She is survived by her sons, George Welch, wife, Diane, Travis Welch, wife, Bonita, and Gary Welch, wife, Athena; daughters, Cathy Barnes, husband, Bennie, Diane Gassaway, husband, David, and Merry Tucker, husband, Frank; brother, Daniel Monroe Dorrett Sr., wife, Juanita; sister, Sharon Kathleen Hickey, husband, Carroll; grandchildren, Jim Barnes, Davey Gassaway, Bridget Gassaway, Steven Pilkerton, Anita Archer, Randy Welch, Crystal Welch, Gary Welch, Robyn Welch, Monroe Welch, Anthony Keller, Angelo Keller and Matt Keller; great-grandchildren, Trent Miller, Tyler Barnes, Destyne Rondaeu, Cristian Pilkerton, Makayla Pilkerton and Grace Pilkerton.

Mrs. Welch was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
