John William Glasgow, 54, Russellville, died Thursday, January 11, 1979, at his residence. A native of Franklin County, he was a retired school teacher, World War II veteran and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Services will be Monday at the Mountain Home Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. John W. Johnston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, with Spry Funeral Home of Russellville directing. The body will lie at the funeral home until time of services.

Survivors include two sons, Johnny Mack Glasgow and Rexford Glasgow, both of Russellville; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Henson; two grandchildren, Kristi and Stuart Henson, Opelika, Alabama; three sisters, Mrs. Maxine Martin, Mrs. Mildred Feary and Mrs. Doris Sweda, all of Chicago, Illinois; six brothers, Spencer L. Glasgow, Kemper T. Glasgow, Jr., Ross W. Glasgow, all of Russellville, James A. Glasgow, Phil Campbell, Robert H. Glasgow, Muscle Shoals, and Thomas L. Glasgow, Waterloo, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be W. H. Gates, John Grisham, Radford Hester, Ernie Elliott, Gerald Knight, Barney Henson, C. B. Green and Cleatus Allen.
