HODGES--Mrs. Mamie Simpson Taylor, 68, Hodges, Al., died early Saturday Nov. 8, 1969, in the Red Ray Hospital. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Belgreen and a lifetime resident of Franklin County.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 2 PM at the Mt. Home Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 1 until 2 and will be at the Hamilton Funeral Home until then. Rev. Charley Touchstone will officiate.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. J. D. Scott, Red Bay; and Mrs Anderson George, Hamilton; one son, Joseph Taylor, Paducah, Ky,; one brother, S.O. Simpson, Pensacola, Fla.; 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
