Life's Weaving - Spencer L. Glasgow

Services for Spencer L. Glasgow, 69, of Russellville, were held Thursday, April 19, 1984, at Akins Funeral Home chapel with Richard Jones officiating. Burial followed in Franklin Memory Gardens.

Glasgow had retired from TVA as chemical engineer. He was also a veteran of World War II and a Mason.

A native of Franklin County and member of the Presbyterian Church, he died April 17, 1984, near Belgreen from an apparent heart attack.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lurlie Glasgow, Russellville; one son, Spencer Lafayette Glasgow, Huntsville; four grandchildren; Spencer Jr., Darryl, Timothy and Connie Glasgow, all of Huntsville; five brothers, Kemper T. Glasgow Jr., Russellville, Jim Glasgow, Phil Campbell, Ross Glasgow, Russellville, Robert Houston Glasgow, Muscle Shoals, Tom Glasgow, Waterloo; three sisters, Mrs. Maxine Martin, Chicago, Illinois, Mrs Jane Feary, Chicago, Illinois, Mrs. Doris Antepenko, Chicago, Illinois; nieces and nephews.
